These terms apply to your use of the Gajare Photography website and to every photography and videography service we provide. By booking us or using this website, you agree to them. The terms in your written quotation also apply; if they differ from this page, the quotation prevails.
1. Quotations
- A quotation is valid for 10 days from the date of issue.
- Prices on this website are guides only. Your final price is the one in your written quotation.
- Submitting an enquiry or check-availability form does not book us or hold your date.
- Before you accept a quotation, please confirm that we are available on your date by calling 07208 659598.
- To accept a quotation, acknowledge it by email or WhatsApp.
2. Booking and payment
- Your booking is secured only after confirmation with us and a deposit payment.
- Payment terms are 50% advance and 50% on the day of the shoot.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- After paying the deposit, please send the proof of payment by email or WhatsApp. We will then give you a unique customer number to use in all communication and whenever payments are made.
- The outstanding balance is payable on the day of the event. After full payment, your deliverables are provided.
3. Extra time and extra work
- If the work and time extend beyond what is in your quotation, extra time is charged per person for each additional hour, at the rate in your quotation.
- Albums include up to 30 pages. Pages beyond 30 are charged at the rate in your quotation.
4. Changes to date, time or location
- Please give us the correct address, date and time well in advance.
- If you wish to change or alter your booked services (for example your chosen event dates or location) after confirmation, we will do our utmost to accommodate the change, but it may not always be possible.
- Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking.
- Any change after confirmation is charged extra, and all costs caused by the change are borne by the client.
- If any detail such as the venue or date changes, please contact us as soon as possible.
5. Client responsibilities
- The client must have an authorised representative present during all shooting phases of the assignment. If no representative is present, our interpretation of the coverage will be accepted.
- After booking is confirmed, the client provides a hard drive on which the photos and raw video footage will be returned.
- For albums, the client selects the photos and shares the selection with us for album design.
6. Delivery
- A pen drive with all photos is couriered to the client within 7–10 days after the event.
- Album design takes 25–28 days after we receive the pen drive with the selected photos. After the client approves the design, printing takes 3–4 days.
- A minimum of 8 to 10 weeks is required to deliver the selected deliverables, depending on the wedding season. If there is a slight delay, we ask for your patience and will sincerely try to deliver on time.
7. Travel and accommodation
Where an event needs travel or accommodation, we will indicate the costs, if any, in the quotation.
8. Copyright and use of images
- We keep the copyright to all images and films we create, including purchased electronic images.
- You may use the delivered files for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as sharing with family and friends, printing and posting on your own social media. Commercial use needs our written permission.
- We may use images and films from your event for promotional purposes, such as our portfolio, website and social media, except as agreed otherwise. See our Privacy Policy for how to ask us not to.
9. Limits of our responsibility
We cannot be held responsible for any circumstance beyond our control, including the loss of images.
10. Using this website
- Please use the website lawfully and do not try to damage, copy or misuse it.
- All photos, films, text, logos and designs on the website belong to Gajare Photography. Please do not copy or reuse them without written permission.
- We do our best to keep information accurate, but services, prices and availability may change.
- Links to third-party websites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
11. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date of your booking applies to that booking.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Mumbai. We would always prefer to resolve concerns by talking first.
